FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Legal status

Is Bravo a school?

Yes. Bravo is a private school for Pre-K, K–5 and middle school. Your child enrolls as a Bravo student, and the classroom is inside your employer's office instead of a separate building.

Private-school rules differ a lot by state: some ask for registration, accreditation or a set number of school days, others ask for very little. We work through each state's requirements with counsel before opening there.

Do I need to file anything with my state?

No homeschool paperwork. Because your child attends a private school, Bravo handles the school's side with the state: registration where required, attendance and school records. You complete enrollment and the usual school forms, such as immunization records.

Ages and schedule

What ages and grades?

Pre-K through 8th grade, roughly ages 4 to 14: Pre-K, K–5 and middle school. Places for the 2027–2028 school year are limited, so join the waitlist early.

Which days does my child come in?

The days you work from the office. You set a weekly schedule of office days and home days, and you can change it with a little notice.

What does a day look like?

Short focused learning blocks with breaks in between, with block lengths set by grade. Children check in with the Guide, learn with their super intelligence teacher, take movement breaks, and are checked out to an adult on their authorized pickup list.

How many children are in a room?

At most 10 children per Guide, or fewer where state rules require it.

Home days

What happens on home days?

Your child continues the same lessons with the same super intelligence teacher at home. You sign in to start the session, so an adult is always responsible. If your child raises their hand for help, it comes to you instead of a Guide. Home sessions are logged as part of your child's school attendance. Some states require private-school students to attend in person for a set number of days; where they do, we tell you before you enroll.

Do I have to teach on home days?

No lesson planning needed: the super intelligence teacher leads the lessons. You need to be home and available, start the session and help if your child asks.

Cost

What does Bravo cost families?

Your employer decides. Some companies cover the full cost as a benefit; others share it with families through a small monthly co-pay. Bravo is priced per enrolled child, monthly, and we set pricing with each partner company.

Is Bravo available at my company?

Bravo is offered through employers, and we're starting with our first partner companies. Join the waitlist with your work email. We use interest from parents to make the case to employers.

Safety and privacy

Can my employer see how my child is doing?

No. Employers see only anonymized totals such as how many seats are used, and small numbers are hidden so no one can be identified. They never see an individual child's progress, behavior or data. This is enforced in our database, not just our screens.

Who are the Guides?

Bravo employees, background-checked and trained before they work in a room. We track expiry dates so checks never lapse.

Is the super intelligence teacher safe for children?

Every message to and from the super intelligence teacher goes through a safety check. It stays on learning topics, never asks for personal information, and if a child says something worrying, a grown-up is brought in right away. Read our safety commitments →
